Day-by-Day Itinerary

D1 Kampala – Kibale National Park

Morning departure from Kampala heading west through Fort Portal, a scenic town cradled between the Rwenzori Mountains and crater lakes. Stop for lunch on route. Afternoon arrival at Kibale. Evening briefing with your naturalist guide.

Early morning start into the forest for chimpanzee tracking. Follow expert trackers through the dense jungle canopy listening for the chimpanzees' distinctive calls. After tracking, enjoy a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Return to Kampala in the afternoon.
